During Ostend at Anchor, a particularly charming street performance arrives: The Sound of Sewing. In this cheerful act, sewing, theatre, and music blend together effortlessly, creating a playful spectacle that instantly brings a smile to your face.

Two antique Dutch bicycles form the backdrop of this travelling atelier. On them, two improvisational couturiers work live on the audience’s clothing, transforming outfits on the spot into small works of art. The audience doesn’t just watch — they dance and sing along with great enthusiasm, the energy radiating through the crowd.

Their secret? The sewing‑mobile: a sewing machine powered by the back wheel of a bicycle. An ingenious, elegant, and globally unique way of sewing.
